HORNDA operates in Somalia and Ethiopia, focusing on addressing shared humanitarian crises with a particular emphasis on child survival and resilience-building for climate-affected populations. Our primary target groups include vulnerable children, poor households, internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, asylum seekers, and women and youth affected by climate-related challenges. We prioritize initiatives that enhance child survival by improving access to healthcare, nutrition, and protection, ensuring that children have a chance to thrive even in the most challenging environments. Simultaneously, we support resilience and livelihood development for communities impacted by climate change, equipping them with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to adapt and sustain their livelihoods.
